Micil Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey

After more than a century, legal whiskey distillation returns to Galway with the release of our Micil Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey.

Limited to only 360 bottles, this whiskey represents the perfect marriage of our Connemara and Galway City roots. We’ve taken the learnings of our past, but reinvented them for our future, creating a bold, spicy single malt layered with our trademark soft Connemara peat smoke.

Produced on a small still, with long distillation times and cuts made by taste and sense alone, this wonderful expression of Galway Whiskey uses 100% Irish barley, malted with turf from our family land. Matured in Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Palo Cortado casks, imparting intense sweetness and depth to this already exceptional spirit.
