Following the sell-out success of our First Release in 2024, we are proud to announce the arrival of the Second Release in our limited-edition Galway Whiskey Trilogy. This bold, peated heritage whiskey has been distilled, matured and bottled by hand in Galway.

Unlike the narrow rules that define pot still whiskey today, this Micil Heritage Whiskey reflects the broader style of how pot still whiskey was once made in Galway. Crafted from a traditional mashbill of peated malt, unmalted barley, oats, wheat and rye, it honours the old ways of using what was at hand – honest, varied, and full of character.

Limited to 720 bottles, this Galway whiskey was distilled slow and steady on our small still, guided by nose, palate and instinct alone. It carries soft Connemara peat smoke woven through layers of grain and spice. Matured in 50L Sherry and Spanish Oak casks, it delivers a bold, textured whiskey true to our Connemara roots, with the strength, depth and vibrancy that define Micil Whiskey.
